(Subsea Pipeline Replacement (SPR)) The WJO 36” Offshore CBM-SPM Pipeline Project objective is to address the significant internal corrosion on the pipeline to resume safe and reliable offtake loading operations at the SPM. The project will minimize the risks and duration for costly interim loading operations at the intermediate CBM. The 3.6 km segment was determined to have significant internal corrosion resulting from a smart pig run conducted in Q2-2019. The pipeline inspection was performed by Rosen with an MFL tool and detected 3639 metal loss features between the CBM & SPM. In addition, a 900m section of the pipeline passes through Mina Al-Zour residential area, and the team will evaluate reroute options to evacuate the residential area from WJO facilities via FEED. |

(Terminal Marine Jetty and Boat Ramp Refurbishment) Marine jetty and Boat Ramp structures are located at the Al-Zour Terminal serves as the access point to offshore facilities of Wafra Joint Operations for mobilizing crew & equipment from/to boats, tugs and barge for carrying out routine berthing/deberthing operations and for maintenance work. The Jetty Head also houses the main firewater pumps and Jockey pumps. Currently, the condition of the Jetty and Boat Ramp, which includes load bearing steel structures (piles and cross beams) and the boat landing area are heavily corroded and damaged due to boat impact and poses concerns to the integrity of the Jetty structure, potential risk of damage to the structure and collapse causing serious/fatal injury to personnel during personnel transfer from Jetty to the boats.
